Designer: Dorian Webb

Crystorama Lighting Group

New York based CRYSTORAMA Lighting and award winning designer DORIAN WEBB have partnered together to introduce a new collection of transitional lighting.

“Dorian Webb for Crystorama” is based on Webb’s jewelry collections as it focuses on layering and the use of color. With both the Palla Collection and the Fiore Collection, Dorian took inspiration from her own jewelry designs to create these transitional chandeliers.  We’ve been orbiting around Dorian Webb’s designs for a while now, admiring her Viaggo line of Venetian glass fixtures from afar.  But at the 2009 January Dallas market, Crystorama helped channel her aesthetic into something more down to Earth.  Inspired by a bracelet in the desinger’s jewelry line, Palla (Italian for “sphere”) is one of her two debut collections, with its overlapping oval lenses suspended in layers for greater depth, they feature Neutral-toned diaphanous disks that float in an antique gold wrought iron frame.  Inset irregular prisms add unexpected sparkle to the earth tones, an effect Webb likens to motion of musical rhythms. No wonder she’s the belle of the ball.
